Democrat nominee for Governor of Tennessee Charlie Brown was the Speaker this morning at the Boyd Cloud Saturday Morning Club today. The club meets at the Shoney’s on Western Avenue at 8 a.m.

State Senate Candidate Cheri Siler was present and spoke briefly.

Former Knoxville Mayor Randy Tyree spoke and introduced Charlie Brown. Tyree said Tennessesans like winners but they love underdogs. Like in 1975 when Tyree won the Election as Mayor of Knoxville as the underdog to Republican Kyle Testerman. He introduced Charlie Brown right after Tyree endorsed Brown for Governor.

My friend Jim Jennings spoke in support of his friend and Second District School Board Candidate Jamie Rowe. Who had another campaign activity during the Boyd Cloud meeting.
