Today, Governor Bill Haslam’s office announced an agreement on Medicaid expansion. The timing sucks because today 12/15/14 is the deadline for signing up for ObamaCare aka Affordable Care Act and for all those Tennesseans that went through the online sign ups may be confused. Several insurance agents that handle those policies were getting phone calls today saying I may want to reconsider what I signed up for with you. Those agents were able to talk these folks from making a decision that would leave them with nothing.

Just because Haslam has agreed to this, I believe the legislature will have to concur and changes will be debated and quite possibly be implemented. If folks didn’t have a professionally licensed person advise them, they could be without and that kinda sucks for them.
