When State Senator Richard Briggs challenged State Senator Stacey Campfield last year, he  said that he was pro life. Yesterday, he no voted on a bill that requires a 48 hour informed consent before an abortion can be performed.

Only 5 Senators voted no, it passed overwhelmingly. However, the citizens of Senator Briggs district were not represented, as he remained quiet. Not voting for or against the measure.

I guess this is proof that when Democrat Cheri Siler said there would be difference in a Briggs voting and a Campfield record of votes, that the Democrat was so wrong.
