Here in today’s Knoxville News Sentinel, we learn in the City of Knoxville money was mishandled, one supervisory position is allowed to retire and three others terminated. In Knox County an elected Trustee and two of his employees are discovered to mishandled money, the Trustee and both employees are tried and all earn jail terms. But one is the city and the other the county. One let’s it all slide and the other convicts.
