Yesterday was a busy time in Karns. At 7 p.m. the Karns Republican Club met at the Karns Middle School Library. Knox County Commissioner Brad Anders was the Speaker. Law Director Bud Armstrong also spoke. School Board Member Terry Hill was present as was Property Assessor Candidate John Whitehead and Mr. Gary Jones represented Property Assessor candidate Jim Weaver.

At 7:30 p.m. at the Karns Community Club Center the MPC held a community meeting on the Northwest Sector Plan.
