Joyce Meyer’s new release Overload is a helpful book for nearly everyone. If you experience stress you need this book. It identifies triggers that can begin stress, it provides examples of stress but more importantly it provides strategies and tools to overcome the stress.

The subtitle is How to unplug, unwind and unleash yourself from the pressure of stress. I found it difficult to block time to read it, but I recognized that was the enemy trying to keep me from learning winning techniques to be a winner.

One of my life verses is Jeremiah 29:11 and Meyer uses that verse throughout the book in ways I had not considered before. There is hope, one example Meyer gives is Paul. Paul persecuted Christians and stood by as Stephen was stoned…but God gave him a new beginning as an apostle, a missionary, and a author of most of the New Testament.
