Our Advertiser James Corcoran, a Republican candidate for TN House District 18 announced on his campaign Facebook page that he has received the endorsement of the KC-PACE (Knox County Political Action Committee for Education) the group is made up of members of the Knox County Education Association.

The verbiage of Corcoran’s posting is below.

“I am pleased to announce that the Knox County Political Action Committee for Education(KC-PACE) is endorsing my campaign for State Representative.
I am extremely thankful that Knox County’s educators believe in my platform for helping the youth of East Tennessee. Teachers see the long-term problems that children born drug-exposed can have in the classroom, and they witness how the opiate crisis is impacting our future.

It is vital to our community that our government engage in a dialogue with our educators. If we aren’t listening to our teachers, we aren’t hearing our children.”
