The uncontested Knox County Law Director and Property Assessor campaigns on the General Election ballots were required to file their campaigns Pre-General campaign financial disclosures on Thursday July 28, 2016.

Law Director

Richard “Bud” Armstrong filed a report $10,580.81 on hand last report, received $3,050.00, spent zero, has an outstanding loan of $42,245.00  with $13,630.81 on hand. Contributors are the Building Industry PAC $350; Eighth District Republic (sp) Club $200; CHR-PAC $2,500.

Property Assessor

John R. Whitehead filed a report of $11,120.53 on hand last report, received $1,200.00, spent $1,812.59, an outstanding loan of $85,000.00 with $10,507.94 on hand. One of three Contributors is 8th District Republican Club $200, the Treasurer of 8th District Republican Club is Cindi Ballard according to the financial disclosure. She is the wife of outgoing Property Assessor Phil Ballard.
