Jim Weaver, Two Elections in One Year?

The first three months of 2016, the Republicans in Knox County became aware of Jim Weaver, the Deputy Chief of the Knox County Property Assessor.

On March 1, Weaver lost the Republican Primary by less than 80 votes.

Now, a source has tipped me off that Weaver is running to be the Vice President of IAAO. In this informational card or ad it makes (in my opinion) a valed presentment that Weaver is the Assessor or at least as employed in the Assessors office.

Interesting that it says he anticipates retiring on September 1. He in fact did retire, probably because his shot of being retained by the elected Knox County Property Assessor John R. Whitehead were slim to none.

We have not been able to confirm that he is using the election slogan, Pull the Lever for Jim  Weaver.
