Mark T. Barclay has written and published a book that I read today, The Missing Red Letters. It is a book on the words of Christ. In some “red letter” Bibles the words of Christ are published in Red. It seems in today’s culture both in the church and outside the church little emphasis is placed on the actual words of Christ.

While the entire Bible is important, it is imperative to focus on the words of Christ. After I began reading it, it occurred to me how appropriate to read it on the eve of when we celebrate Christ’s birth. Merry Christmas to all you’ns and your’ns.
