This week was the ten year anniversary of the Channon Christian and Chris Newsom murders, WATE‘s Kristen Farley did an extensive story on the families. Hugh and Mary Newsom along with Gary and Deena Christian. Somehow along the information gathering process, Farley got personal information on Gary and at the end of the story not only included it, but focused on it. How an experienced reporter got side tracked and took the focus off the deaths of Channon and Chris, the thug low life’s that tortured and murdered them was shocking and unexpected.
