The filing deadline to qualify to be on the ballot for the City of Knoxville City Council Primary is May 18, 2017. Tonight the Town Hall East folk presented all candidates. In District One only Stephanie Welch appeared. Another candidate Debbie Helsley turned in her petition on April 12, 2017. Other potential candidates Ken Bradley, Kevin Hill, Greg Knox, Rebecca Parr and Andrew Wilson have petitions but have NOT returned them according to the list from the Knox County Election Commission.
