The First Contest in TN Governor’s Race Goes to Bill Lee

The first head to head contest among the first two Republican candidates for Governor has occurred and Bill Lee raised $100,000 more last night than Randy Boyd did in April. Boyd raised $1.2 million at a Knoxville event, Boyd’s hometown. While last night Bill Lee raised $1.3 million in Franklin, Lee’s hometown. Lee’s event was held in Christian Recording Artist Michael W. Smith‘s barn.
