It has recently reported elsewhere that Scott Smith was the first of four candidates for Knox County Circuit Court Clerk to kickoff his campaign, we were at Smith’s event, reported it right here after the event, included a video of Smith’s remarks. The event was before Memorial Day.

However the elsewhere reporting got it wrong. The first kickoff was not Smith’s but was actually held in September of 2016 by another candidate, We covered it too, here.
