Rep. Martin Daniel’s 11 Months as an Accused May End

State Rep. Martin Daniel of Knoxville is expected in court today over his July 2016 shoving incident of his opponent in the Newstalk 98.7 studio.

Sources indicate that the case will likely be disposed of. Daniel will likely have to be on his best behavior for a period of time and then it will be erased from his record.

Of course, there was a conspiracy theorist that wondered if Daniel’s vote for the gas tax was a precursor to this case ending, I highly doubt that.

The continual delay in hearings (this is at least the third rescheduled hearing) just kept making it difficult for the 4 eyewitnesses to appear in court.
