When Two Candidates for Governor Converge in One Location

Tonight at Calhoun’s at the Marina in Lenoir City it was like a political eclipse, one week before the solar eclipse, State Senator Mae Beavers and an announced Republican Candidate for Governor was the Speaker at the Cross County Patriots meeting.

In the dining room of Calhoun’s at the Marina United States Congressman Diane Black along with a group of Loudon and Roane County Leaders which included State Senator Ken Yager dined and talked. It seems that Black had been in Blount County and decided to meet with some leaders over dinner before heading back toward Nashville.

Beavers will be the guest of honor at a meet and greet tomorrow in Loudon County.
