Ivan Harmon after fielding a lot of encouragement to run for Knox County Circuit Court Clerk has decided NOT to be a 2018 candidate.

In every possible scenario Harmon would have been victorious in a 5 way Republican Primary to succeed Cathy Shanks. However, he is very content and satisfied with his position with the Knox County Sheriffs Office helping communities and non profit agencies in directing inmate industries.
