Sources indicated that Don Lawson the CTE (Career Technical Education) Supervisor was placed on Administrative Leave several days ago and that County Commissioner and Special Education Teacher Evelyn Gill was placed on Administrative Leave this week. Official from Knox Schools: Evelyn Gill, a special education teacher, has been placed on administrative leave with pay, pending an investigation.

Don Lawson, career and technical education director, has been placed on administrative leave without pay, pending an investigation.

The investigations involving Ms. Gill and Mr. Lawson are completely separate and unrelated. Because these investigations are continuing, we are unable to comment further at this time.
