This story today about the South Knoxville restaurant owner being arrested for purchasing stolen meat brings to my mind what I have witnessed nearly my entire life.

The sad reality is that as a youth I grew up around grocery stores, for the past 3 decades aka 30 years I have been a manufacturing sales rep for grocery aka consumer package goods companies to all types of stores. I have witnessed many (thousands) of shoplifters caught in the stores and out of the stores. Every shoplifter (male and female) when caught stealing meat from a store. Had placed the meat in thier pants or up thier dresses/skirts.

So if you ate at the Roundup, that’s a sad reality of this crime.
