Corker is Out, Who is In?

Senator Bob Corker announced he is not running for re-election to the U.S. Senate seat  that he was elected to in 2006. The question is who will run for the U.S. Senate seat. United States Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn of TN’s Seventh Congressional District has about $3 million in her campaign fund that would be a good jumpstart. Former United States Congressman Stephen Fincher of TN’s Eighth Congressional District, also has about $3 million in campaign coffers. Andy Ogle, former TN AFP Director has already indicated he would be running. TN Governor Bill Haslam is another possibility. What about Mark Green? It is rumored that Green would likely run for Blackburn’s Congressional seat if she runs for Senate. Of course, then there’s Joe Carr, but who cares what he does. He is not getting elected to anything.
