With the long campaigns for 2018, we have already seen some unconventional campaign events, some to raise money and some just to help get the candidates name out.

This coming Saturday Commissioner Bob Thomas will have an unconventional event in his bid to be Knox County Mayor. The campaign will meet at Shoney’s on Rutledge Pike and they will caravan to Mascot to get a meet and greet and then over through four way inn and after 5 hours return to Shoney’s.

Every car that participates will have a Bob Thomas for Mayor car flag. It is almost reminiscent of funeral processions back in the day, they put a flag on your car until you got to the burial site.
