Yesterday Mae Beavers posted on the campaign Facebook page that she was suspending her race for Governor of TN. Beavers a former State Senator, resigned from the State Senate and a Special Election was held to replace her. So, if Beavers does not return to the race, she is likely retired.

Which IMHO is sad that she left the State Senate because she was a good consistent Conservative voice in the State Senate.
