As a citizen of Knox County, I hope this investigation is wrapped up before the election. Even the perception of unethical behavior undermines the public’s trust in elected officials.

As Mayor, I will maintain full and absolute transparency in our county’s government. Instead of an atmosphere of suspicion and division, we need to create one of trust and cooperation so that together we can work to make Knox County even better.
