Throwback Thursday – it’s when people share photos or memories from the past, primarily on social media (Twitter & Facebook) Today the day after the Knox County Ethics Committee, voted to look into an ethics complaint. I thought it might be good to revisit a couple snipets of history, a throwback if you will.

August 26, 2009 here is a report of a previous ethics committee meeting occurring on Commissioner Robert Lawrence Smith. A former School Board Member, newspaper Publisher refused to attend although he was noticed as a witness.

February 22, 2016 here an article about Ole Bud. With an glowing endorsement by a former County Commissioner (according to the article is “something of a legend”) who is a lobbyist for an ambulance company.

*Mills in the 1980’s while serving on Knox County Commission from South Knox County it was reported that he and Commissioner Joe McMillan (School Board Member Mike McMillan’s father) were receiving free cable television.
