sources indicate that John R Whitehead has told staff that he will seek election in 2020 as Knox County Property Assessor. Whitehead is nearly half way through his term that began on 9/1/2016. With Knox County term limits, he is eligible to serve another term, from 8/1/2020 until 8/31/2024.

That is good news on this Monday.
