Online today, Matt Lakin of the Knoxville News Sentinel posted a story (it will probably be on the bird cage liner tomorrow) about Retired Law Enforcement Officer David McCroskey and a complaint he filed on Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett on July 5, 2018. It is a multiple item complaint, the story posted today, did not do much justice to the complaint. (IN MY HUMBLE OPINION) Do not take the News Sentinel’s word for it or BrianHornback.Com ‘s word for it. Check it out here and read it for yourself.
The complaint has 5 items and they are:
1) the hiring of Burchett’s stepson. Here are exhibit documents on the posting for the position, the application etc.
2) the hiring of an employee in the Knox County Finance Department.
3) Misuse of Knox County taxpayer dollars for a benefit dinner. Here and here are previous stories on BrianHornback.Com about the dinner from previous research. Ultimately documents had to be received by the East TN Historical Society Board because Knox County refused to comply with an open records request.
4) Banking Stock of Burchett.
5) County Solar Project. Here and here are previous stories on BrianHornback.Com about the Solar project from previous research.
There are numerous pages of exhibits to the issues McCroskey has raised.
