Republican State Executive Committee has some Change and Some Consistency

There are three State Senate districts in Knox County. In each State Senate District each political party elects a man and woman to represent the district of the Executive Committee of the respective State party.

District 5 Committeeman Scott Smith won re-election easily. Committeewoman Elect is now Amy Jones as Julia Hurley did not seek re-Election.

District 6 Committeeman Elect Matt Coleman defeated Ted Hatfield. Committewoman Elect Michele Carringer will replace Jane Chedester who has moved to District 7.

District 7 Janes Chedester will replace Karen Brown who did not seek re-Election. Chedester served one term in District 6. James Corcoran will replace Ken Gross who term limited himself and did not seek a third term.
