As the elected officials changed out yesterday, one unelected career policeman retired. KCSO Chief Deputy Eddie Biggs. After serving 44 years in law enforcement. First at the Knoxville Police Department and the last 10 years at Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

Last night, his son Knox County Commissioner Justin Biggs and family had a surprise retirement party at the Foundry for Chief.

Thank you to Mrs. Pat (wife) Amanda and Justin (children) for sharing Chief with us.
