Knox County Mayor Agrees with Retirement Board UOP Agreement

The controversy about the UOP (Uniformed Officers Pension) has come to an end. The Knox County Retirement and Pension Board had reached an agreement regarding the officers in question. Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs announced this afternoon his agreement with the decision. He will ask County Commission to approve it.

Knox County Law Director Bud Armstrong appears to be the one left out on the plank by himself. The entire controversy costing more than half a million dollars according to the Mayor.
