Last night, 2019 Knoxville Mayoral candidate John Bevil posted on his Facebook some news that made me check the calendar to ensure it was not April 1 instead of April 2.

First, Bevil has not been included in mayoral debates. Which in my almost 15 years of blogging, I continually complain about, if someone is a candidate, they should be included.

Second, the Libertarian Party of East TN had voted to endorse Bevill. BUT, recently they pulled an endorsement because the Mayors race is non partisan. Did they not realize that the Mayors race was non partisan when they endorsed Bevil.

Bevil has significant support, he is a hard worker and will be missed. I am happy to have met John and his family, he is my friend and I hope he will stay engaged and he will be back.
