At the State Rep. Rick Staples Town Hall last week with TN Commissioner of Education Penny Schwinn several Knox County Commissioners were present. Of the County Commissioners present, only Joint Education Committee Chairman Larsen Jay and Former Joint Education Committee Chair Evelyn Gill asked questions.

Jay asked about BEP Funding which the Commissioner has limited to no control over as Funding is the legislatures responsibility.
