Lunch time today, TN Speaker Beth Harwell and Republican candidate for Governor was at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Downtown Knoxville. A room of more than 80 people were there for a Meet and Greet with Speaker Harwell. Knoxville Attorney John Valliant and Knoxville Businessman Jim Jennings helped coordinate the business and community leaders that came to hear from Harwell. Valliant got the room to laugh after Harwell’s talk when he said, “Republicans have deep pockets but short arms.”
