Yesterday I received the July 2005 issue of Governing magazine. I enjoy this magazine, more than others. The cover story is entitled Blogger Power, it details Austin, TX Eileen Smith and her blog In The Pink Texas. Her blog covers the Texas Legislature.

There is a sidebar story about a couple of Texas legislators that blog from the floor of the legislative chambers. I kept looking for State Representative Stacy Campfield’s name in the story. With the growing blogsphere, there will be additional stories.

This is a great awareness story for individuals not currently in the blogsphere.
