BREAKING NEWS: When a Lifetime Career Knox County Employee and Elected Official Doesn’t Pay Taxes

Mike McMillan, a Retired career Knox County School Teacher and Knox County Commissioner from 1992-2006 and Knox County School Board Member from 2009-Present (running for re-election 3/3/2020) has been paid a lot of money from the taxpayers of Knox County for the work he has done. So, when I was sent the information that he has unpaid property taxes for the past two years I was SHOCKED.

Surely, he will not use the defense he forgot or it got lost in the mail as he obviously knows property taxes are due every year. Especially, since his dad was a Commissioner (of sorts) from 1966 until his death in 1992.
