The Knox County Republican Women—once dubbed the “Chick-fil-A Women” by#TheMegaBullhornOfTruth (BrianHornback.com) because they used to meet on Holmberg Drive at Chick-fil-A—have changed venues. Their meetings are now held at Red Lobster, 8040 Kingston Pike in Knoxville. So perhaps it’s time for a new nickname: the “Red Fish Women.”?
Knox County is fortunate to have several active Republican women’s organizations. The Volunteer Republican Women meet for lunch at Buddy’s Banquet Hall in Bearden, while the Knoxville Federated Republican Women Club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at a beautiful venue with horses—one of my favorite meeting locations, the horses are my therapists. Then the Knox County Republican Women are the first Thursday club.
As Tennessee Republican State Executive Committeeman for District 6, Brian Hornback is always glad to attend when invited, thus the meeting on July 9, 2026.
