Not sure this is news. But, it seems that State Senator Stacey Campfield decided to highlight a $100 contribution from Former Knox County Mayor Mike Ragsdale to his only (as of now) announced opponent.
Campfield is quoted as saying that he believed the Former Mayor’s support of his opponent was worth an in kind contribution to his campaign. I advise individuals all the time, when you use my name or anyones name in a campaign you get a majority of mine or others friends and supporters but you get all of mine or others haters.
It seems Campfield is using this strategy. For the Former County Mayor, it seems that Campfield will be given a chance to correct the error of his fling before fines are levied. So, it will be corrected soon enough. Campaigns are theatric dramas, this is just another example.
