Yesterday, we recapped the likely match-ups here for Knoxville Mayor, Four City Council positions and Municipal Judge. Some updates have happened and here is the new 411.

In the City Council at Large Seat C, Paul Bonovich enters the ring that has Kelly Absher, Incumbent Finbarr Saunders and Pond Gap Neighborhood Leader David Williams. A Knox County Republican Party source has informed me that Williams is a solid Republican.

In the City Council District 5 Incumbent Mark Campen returned his paperwork. Newcomer Jennifer Mirtes was the only candidate until Campen returned his paperwork.

Tomorrow, Thursday June 18, 2015 at NOON is the filing deadline. We anticipate updating you again tomorrow and then next Thursday June 25, 2015 will be the withdrawal deadline for anyone that gets nervous and chickens out.
