Seeing the stories about a lawsuit by a former employee of Knox County Circuit, Sessions, Juvenile Court Clerk. The media hasn’t checked into the process. I believe that the Clerk does not submit payroll to the Trustee’s office as has been reported because they are copying and pasting from the lawsuit document.

The correct policy (I believe) is that the Clerk sends payroll to the county finance department and they send it then to the Trustee for the correct funds to be placed into the payroll line item.

I  could potentially be wrong, My primary concern is why there is no fact checking by the main stream media and if this is an attempt not to muddy Mayor Burchett and his Finance Department led by Chris Caldwell.
