Commissioner Busler and His Question About TNVA

Tonight the Knox County Commission in workshop session were asking questions about the Knox County School Board contract with Florida Virtual Academy for online classes for primarily high school students that have opted for the virtual classes.

Commissioner Charles BuslerĀ asked why the Tennessee Virtual Academy School wasn’t selected. I understand that Busler’s wife was at one time (do not know if she is still) an employee of Tennessee Virtual. CORRECTION: Busler’s wife’s son was the principal of the TN Virtual Academy, which with the screenshot below shows they are part of the Union County School System, not Campbell County as he said with a Knoxville mailing address.
