Concord Farragut Republican Club – Knox Sheriffs Jimmy “J.J. Jones and Tom “Spanky” Spangler

Reported On

Tonight at the Concord Farragut Republican Club Knox County Sheriffs Jimmy “J.J.” Jones and Tom “Spanky” Spangler were two of the four and a half speakers. There were about 40 Knox Sheriffs Office employees, former employees, supporters wearing gray Spangler shirts. The gray entourage booed, moaned and were generally out of control toward Jones who was the second to speak after Spangler.

Tonight was a fiasco for Spangler as this bullying, disrespectfulness is what I have been told has become the norm of the agency. It is up to Spangler to prove this is and these people are NOT the norm. Spangler himself at one point came back and many of them scattered out the door.

the “Mr. Hornback” one, but my dad and brother were not in Farragut tonight. I am long way from being Mr. Hornback

One even proceeded to tell me what to report (“Mr. Hornback” she said, well my father and older brother are still living, I am along way from being Mr. Hornback)
