Knox County Commissioner David Wright will officially kickoff his campaign for State Representative of the Nineteenth District on Thursday November 2, 2017 from 5-7 pm at the Corryton Senior Center in Northeast Knox County.

The Nineteenth District covers parts of North Knox County, East Knox County and parts of South Knox County. Rep. Harry Brooks has held the position for a number of years and announced earlier this year that he would not seek re-election in 2018.

The Republican Primary will be held in August 2018 with the General Election in November 2018.
