This past Saturday December 21 was the 43rd anniversary when the King met The POTUS (President of the United States, for those of you in Korryton) I was 3.4 year old, I don’t remember it. However, as a President Nixon and an Elvis fan it is always worth commemorating. See Jake’s post here. Jake is best known for his Pull Up a Chair blog. However, his day job is to edit and improve on the contributors weekly contributions in the Shopper News. In 2014, he will also cover Knox County Government. Poor Jake hasn’t been exposed to the likes he is set to see in 2014.
