Does Busler Support Losing a Business in the District He Serves?

The word since Wednesday is that Regal Cinemas is moving out of Halls and headed to the South Waterfront in Downtown Knoxville. They currently employee 435 people. So, you would think that is devastating news to Halls. That is 435 fewer breakfast and lunches during the day. That is 435 fewer groceries and gasoline bring purchased in Halls.

But, Commissioner Busler is in the Knox News Sentinel almost praising the move out of his commission district and seems to be supportive of the $1 or $1.5 million of Knox County tax payer money that Burchett and Busler are giving them to move out of the 7th commission district to the 9th commission district.

Interesting how Timmy Floyd Burchett made a name for himself when in the legislature for opposing giving the Houston Oilers money to move to TN to become the TN Titans. But he and Busler are going to freely pass out money to move less than 10 miles.
