Wow….. I am not ready for this news on August 25, 2026……… Dolly and Cas Walker, Dolly and Carl Dean (her husband) are all together again…….
My friend Kim Isenberg had invited me to the lunch today August 25, 2026 (weeks ago) to the Rotary Club of Knoxville meeting where former TN Chief Supreme Court Justice Gary Wade talked about Friends of the Smoky Mountains, Wade was one of the Founders of Friends of the Smoky Mountains. Friends would not have happened without the Rotary clubs in and around Knoxville, it has been said or told that Dolly and Gary were high school girlfriend/boyfriend……. and now this afternoon this news. (I tuned into the Rotary zoom of the Wade talk)
Five days after I turned 60, Dolly died at age 80………
