UPDATE: 7:52 p.m. I have received a message from News-Sentinel management stating that they would look into it. I would like to say. I do not believe that the legitimate E.W. Scripps Knoxville News-Sentinel would intentionally get it wrong. I am sure it was an honest oversight on a proofreader’s part. This misinformation may have been given to the News-Sentinel by Knox County One Question or from the Howard Baker Center.

E.W. Scripps only owns one paper that employs one reporter (tabloid girl) and one editor (tabloid editor girl) that intentionally writes a story not based on facts but instead based on a predetermined bias against a person That bias is based on the subjects (person they are writing about) belief, status or area of residence within the greater community.

Original Post: Today, on Page B5 E.W. Scripps owned Knoxville News-Sentinel reduces the term of Attorney General, Public Defender and all Judges terms to 4 years. They identify that all of these positions serve an 8 year term. However, they report that their next Election Year is 2010.

They were all elected or re-elected in 2006 meaning that a 8 year term is 2014 and a 4 year term is 2010. The fact is that these positions will be up for election/re-election in 2014. E.W. Scripps owned Knoxville News-Sentinel got it WRONG.

If they get this simple factual story wrong, what complicated stories do they get wrong? Are their tabloid sisters beginning to rub off on them?
