Both talking heads shows, WBIR and WATE had Gloria Johnson and Elaine Davis candidates for TN State House District 13 as their guests this week.

The reality is that the only people that watch the two shows are those inside baseball (the game), like me.

One has to wonder if John North at WBIR and Blake Stevens at WATE talk about having the same program every week. Because it happens often.

Elaine made the point that in two years, Johnson has NOT passed any legislation. I would point out that other Democrats passed legislation with the Republican Super Majority for example Rep. Rick Staples passed online gambling as part of the minority.

Of course Extremist Liberals Don Bosch and Courtney Piper were quick to shield and make excuses for Johnson. Piper herself a campaign contributor to Johnson, no bias there (sarcasm)

Johnson leveled accusations of Davis using County Commission discretion money for the private schools her children attended, while Davis served on County Commission. The problem with Johnson’s accusation is that Davis three children all attended Knox County public schools. Davis immediately rebuked the false accusation. Johnson pledged to apologize if she is wrong.

This race is shaping up to be closer than the Democrats expected.
