Tonight the Fountain City / North Knox Republican Club met for their monthly meeting. Tonight’s Speaker was State Representative Bill Dunn. He discussed many of the issues from this years legislative session.  State Representative Eddie Smith was in attendance and he and Dunn spoke together for a few minutes.

Tonight, Michelle Carringer announced her candidacy for Knox County Commission Second District.

Her only opponent as of today is John Fugate, he was present and announced his campaign kickoff for July.

Also, present tonight was John Whitehead, Candidate for Knox County Property Assessor. he will have a kickoff reception at Rothchild’s in West Knoxville on July 9th, 2015 from 5-7 p.m.
