Today’s Tennessean has this story about an initiative TN Republican Party Chairman Chris Devaney has unveiled. “Red to the Roots” is an organized effort to identify and field local candidates for local court and judge races in 2014.

For some reason (probably in part yesterday’s County Commission meeting where 9 Republicans and 2 Democrats selected an Interim Trustee) I suspect Knox County will either be the 95th (last county) Devaney makes it to or he will take a Sharpie marker and draw a big ole border around the Knox County and declare it a lost cause.
