Gov. Lee Announces Key Appointments in Judicial Branch

Today, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced two key appointments in the judicial branch.“I am proud to announce the appointment of these highly qualified individuals and value the significant experience they will bring to their respective roles,” said Gov. Lee. “I appreciate their leadership and am confident they will serve Tennesseans with integrity.”The following Tennesseans have been appointed:
Bethany Glandorf – Circuit Court Judge, 20th Judicial DistrictMatthew Colvard – District Attorney, 31st Judicial District
Bethany Glandorf currently serves as special master for the Third Circuit Court in the 20th Judicial District. Glandorf earned her bachelor’s degree at University of South Carolina and juris doctor at Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at University of Memphis. Glandorf has been appointed to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Phillip Robinson. This appointment is effective immediately.Matthew Colvard currently serves as interim district attorney for the 31st Judicial District. Colvard earned his bachelor’s degree at University of Tennessee and juris doctor at University of Tennessee College of Law. Colvard has been appointed to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of General Christopher Stanford. This appointment is effective immediately.
