Hardin Valley Mobility Plan Meeting on April 10

Knoxville, Tennessee – March 25, 2019 –In cooperation with Knox County, Knoxville-Knox County Planning has scheduled a community meeting for the Hardin Valley Mobility Plan on April 10, 2019. The workshop will be held from 5:30-8:00 pm in the gymnasium of Hardin Valley Academy, 11345 Hardin Valley Road.

At the workshop there will be two opportunities to view a brief presentation about draft recommendations. It will be given in the auditorium at 5:30 pm and repeated at 6:45 pm. An open house in the cafeteria will be held after each of the presentations. This will allow attendees to view information at any time throughout the evening. Planning staff and consultants will be available to discuss the study, take comments, and answer questions.

The Hardin Valley Mobility Study is being led by Knox County and Knoxville-Knox County Planning. The study is focused on identifying existing and future transportation facility deficiencies in the fastest growing area of the county. It prioritizes improvements with the goal of maintaining mobility and addressing safety for people using different types of transportation.
